President Biden signs the National Plan to End Parkinson's Act into law

President signed the bill H.R. 2365 into law. H.R. 2365 is also known as “Dr. Emmanuel Bilirakis and Honorable Jennifer Wexton National Plan to End Parkinson’s Act,” which “requires the Department of Health and Human Services to develop and evaluate progress on a government-wide plan to address Parkinson’s and related diseases and to require the convening of a Parkinson’s advisory committee”. As a result, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) will establish the National Parkinson’s Project. It will also establish a federal advisory council that will provide recommendations and guidance for making progress against Parkinson’s disease and atypical parkinsonism.
